by hand from a private quarry in Wyoming, each natural fossil stone

Remains
Cathy McClure eviscerates
motordriven robotic plush toys until all that remains are the
articulated plastic limbs and body armature containing the preserved
mechanics. She then casts the limbs and armatures in bronze and
reassembles, creating figural sculpture.
